Summary of Position:
The Senior Livestream Host is responsible for leading live selling events across multiple social media platforms, driving significant sales growth, and setting the standard for best practices in livestream selling. This role requires a dynamic and influential presence, advanced sales techniques, and the ability to engage, retain, and expand our online audience. As a senior-level live streamer, he/she will also mentor junior hosts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the strategic development of the company’s livestream commerce initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Hosting & Sales Leadership
- Serves as the primary host for high-impact livestream selling events, delivering engaging, professional, and persuasive presentations.
- Demonstrate advanced sales strategies to maximize conversion rates and average order value.
- Anticipate and address customer inquiries with expertise, positioning products in a compelling and solution-orientated way.
Audience Engagement & Community Building
- Foster a strong sense of trust, loyalty, and community within the livestream audience.
- Leverage storytelling, interactive segments, and engagement techniques to sustain audience attention.
- Drive participation through exclusive promotions, limited-time offers, and advanced engagement strategies.
Strategy & Optimization
- Analyze livestream performance metrics (engagement, conversion, retention, sales) and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and creative teams to align livestream strategies with broader brand objectives.
- Innovate new livestream formats, campaigns, and tactics based on emerging industry trends.
Team Development & Leadership
- Mentor and train junior livestream hosts, ensuring consistent quality and performance across all sessions.
- Share best practices in hosting, sales techniques, and technical setup with the broader team.
- Provide constructive feedback to continuously elevate the standard of livestream events.
Qualification
- 1-2+ years of proven experience as a livestream host, senior content creator, or in a sales-driven social commerce role.
- Strong track record of driving measurable sales and engagement through livestreams.
- Charismatic, confident, and highly skilled in on-camera communication.
- Deep understanding of livestream commerce, social media marketing, and audience psychology.
- Proficient in livestreaming software, social media platforms, lighting, audio, and video equipment.
- Experience in mentoring or training other hosts/content creators.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred; equivalent experienced considered.
- Full-time position with flexibility in hours to accommodate live selling events, including evenings and weekends.
- This role may involve working in a studio or on-location, depending on the needs of the live event.
